Growing up my father was an avid gardener and my mom liked to arrange flowers and worked in a floral shop for many years.  Gardening with my father and creating floral arrangements with my mother was something we enjoyed doing together. I then continued gardening and began to create arrangements for friends and family for several years.  In those ensuing years (my husband thought I should tell you) I won many awards at flower shows including Best of Show and many blue ribbons. 

After working as a public school teacher and Christian Education Director, my passion for people and flowers, along with my experience at area florists, developed into a business  -- Wedding Flowers by Mary.  My over 30 years of floral design experience, now focused on wedding flowers, allows me to assist you in making your vision of your wedding day a reality.  My passion is using flowers to accentuate your personal style by making beautiful memories for your special day.  I pride myself in quality and personalized service so you can trust everything will go smoothly.
